Dr. Santanu K Ganguli, currently Professor and Area Chairperson of finance of the Jaipuria Institute of Management, Noida, India's best PGDM/MBA colleges in Delhi NCR, is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (FCA) and Ph.D. in finance. Out of a total experience of forty years, he has got eighteen years of experience as a practicing chartered accountant in the area of bank audit, corporate sector audit and accounts, valuation of shares, corporate reporting practice, accounting standards, IFRS, and corporate law matters. Prior to joining Jaipuria, he was a Professor of Finance at the Xavier Institute of Management (XIMB) for 3 years (2015-2017) Institute of Management Technology-Ghaziabad for over 5 years (2009-14), Institute of Management Technology-Nagpur 2 years (2007-09).

His empirical papers on corporate governance and finance have been published in various national and international research journals (Scopus indexed and ABDC ranked). He has presented papers on corporate finance, chaired sessions, and acted as keynote speakers in various national and international conferences (including the University of London and Cambridge University (UK). He got the best presenter award in the finance and economics conference in Miami, Florida (USA).

He has been a visiting faculty of the IIM – Calcutta (2000-05), Institute of Chartered Accountants of India on security valuation, National Academy of Direct Taxes(NADT), XLRI, University of Warsaw, Poland(2010). IMT- Dubai(2012).

He regularly wrote articles (1997 to 2002) on Accounting Standard, strategic cost accounting, and direct taxes in the Hindu Business Line. He has written a book on Accounting for Taxation.

He has conducted numerous management development programs on Accounting Standards,  IFRS, corporate finance, and valuation.

He is a reviewer of Vikalpa, Decision, Studies in Economics and Finance (Emerald), Managerial Finance,  Global Business Review (Sage) etc.

He has supervised one Ph.D. scholar at Delhi University.

He figures among the top 5% of authors in terms of downloads on ssrn.

He has traveled extensively in the UK, Poland, Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, USA, UAE, and the South East Asian countries in connection with teaching (as a visiting professor) and presenting research papers.
