Jaipuria Institute of Management continually strives to foster learning amongst its students and create opportunities that enable well-rounded discussions. Continuing the initiative, a guest lecture was recently organized for the PGDM 2014-16 batch at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Jaipur. Dr. Saurav Banerjee delivered a lecture titled \u201cNew Market Offerings and New Product Development\u201d to an enthusiastic audience. <\/p>\n
In his talk, he covered the tools and techniques used in the effective design and development of a product. He emphasized being \u201ccreative\u201d while developing a product and said, \u201cBe creative and along with creativity, customer involvement is a keystone stage of product development\u201d. The session was interactive and the students took advantage of the opportunity to ask Dr. Banerjee an array of questions. Dr. Banerjee had the students energised and completely involved in the discussion. The topic itself created a lot of excitement, \u201cCreativity is subjective but we need to understand the context and the industry requirement. This session has been very insightful in that sense\u201d, said Rajat. The students expressed their eagerness for such interventions, \u201cwe should have more of such sessions, not does it get us out of the monotony of regular classes, but also brings a fresh perspective to the subject\u201d, shared Neha.<\/p>\n
