Orientation and Induction Program at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Jaipur<\/h4>\n

The induction program for the PGDM batch 2021-23 started on 26th<\/sup> July 2021. The first day of the induction program started with \u201cHawan & Pooja\u201d, Saraswati Vandana, and a welcome invocation song by faculty & staff. Shri Rajeev Dubey<\/strong>, Chairman of Mahindra Insurance Brokers Ltd, Mahindra Steel Service Centre Ltd, and Mahindra First Choice Wheels Ltd; Member, Governing Body of the International Labour Organization (ILO), Geneva; Board Member, International Organization of Employers (IOE), Geneva,\u00a0was the Chief Guest for the Inaugural session. The Guest of honor was our own alumni<\/a> (from PGDM Batch 2008- 10), Kamna Mishra<\/strong>, AVP- Credit, Bank of America.<\/p>\n

\"Orientation<\/p>\n

On Day 2 of the Induction Program for batch 2021-23, Jaipuria Institute of Management, Jaipur<\/strong><\/em> conducted its first Life & Learning Session. The esteemed speaker for the session was Dr. Sanjay Kumar<\/strong>, Country Director \u2013 India, Lakshmi Mittal South Asia Institute, Harvard University, USA, and President, Harvard Club of India. He talked on a pertinent theme \u2018In Pursuit of Augmenting Individual Social Responsibility.\u00a0The session also witnessed the launch of the \u2018Human Library\u2019 concept. The next session scheduled in the day was an introductory and very interactive session of Jaipuria Student Council 2021 with the new batch of PGDM<\/a> 2021-23.<\/p>\n

On day 3 of the induction program for batch 2021-2023, Jaipuria Institute of Management, Jaipur conducted its session on Winter Internship for Societal Happiness (WISH) program. The second session of Day 3 of Induction Program 2021 was a discussion on a Book \u2018MBA is not about Money, Blazer, and Arrogance<\/strong><\/em>\u2019\u00a0<\/strong><\/em>by Krishna Kranti.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Day 4 of the Induction Program started with the second Life and Learning session. The esteemed speaker for the session was Dr. Beena Pinto<\/strong>, advisor VAST TEC, Bengaluru. She discussed the theme” Train your brain to increase efficiency and effectiveness”. The 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0session of the day was delivered by Dr. Anita Sharma<\/strong>, CEO of Inkpot Hub who spoke on the topic “Why is Research Important for Students?”\u00a0\"Orientation<\/p>\n

On day 5 there will be a session on \u201cProfessionalism & Officers like Quality (OLQ)\u201d by Dr. Anurag Singh <\/strong>(Dean-Academics). The 2nd<\/sup> session for the day will be the third Life & Learning Session on the theme \u201cDeciphering D2B\u201d where the distinguished speaker will be General Rajesh Sahai. <\/strong>The 3rd<\/sup> session will be an Interaction with Parents of the batch 2021-23.<\/p>\n

On day 6, an Alumni Talk shall be organized which will be graced by Tejveer Kaur<\/strong>, HR Executive, Stratogent Technology Services, Bangalore Sristhi Paliwal<\/strong>, MT, Spectrum, Bangalore Surbhi Baj<\/strong>, Assistant Manager at Careers360, New Delhi Lavesh Sharma<\/strong>, Regional Manager, L&T Financial Services, Rajasthan Tuhina Rani<\/strong>, India Head, Talent Acquisition, HR, Itiviti Mumbai.<\/p>\n

\"Orientation<\/p>\n

On day 7, Life & Learning Session \u2013 IV will be organized on the theme \u201cCareer and Personal Vision\u201d which shall\u00a0be delivered by Dr. Dieu Hack-Polay<\/strong>, International Academic Professor, Canada & UK. The 2nd<\/sup> session for the day will be on the topic \u201cLaugh it Loud\u201d, in Conversation with Tapas Mohapatra<\/strong>, Co-Founder, Possiblers.<\/p>\n

The rest of the induction days are packed with meaningful and instructive seminars like Placements at Jaipuria<\/a> by Career Management Center (CMC), Student-Driven\/ Engagement Activities, Round Table on \u201cStarting Your Career with Start-ups\u201d, \u201cInternational Exchange and Opportunities\u201d Session, Session on Centers of Excellence at Jaipuria Jaipur<\/a>, etc. Finally, we shall have the Induction Valedictory on 7th<\/sup> August 2021.
