Dr. Rahul is a Ph.D. in management from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. He is also an M.Phil. in management from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. He is PGDM in HR, AIMA, Christ College, Bangalore. Dr. Rahul is BA Hons in Psychology from Patna University, Patna.

Dr. Rahul has worked with both the government sector and corporate. He has done several research projects and consultancy like with Prabhat Khabar, Sahara India, Global Sanitation Fund, Bihar State Child Labour Commission-Unicef, OXFAM India, Games Unlimited, Bangalore.

Dr. Rahul's research interest is in HR Issues in Mergers & Acquisitions, Corporate Social Responsibility, Performance Management, and Cultural Issues. Dr. Rahul has delivered Guest lectures at IIM Ranchi, TISS Mumbai, and has been visiting faculty in many other management institutions.
