Pallavi Srivastava is an associate professor in the area of HR&OB at Jaipuria Institute of Management Lucknow. She is a Fellow of Management Development Institute, Gurgaon having earned her doctorate in the area of employer branding. She is a postgraduate in management and merit listed in her batch (2001-2003) from Jaipuria Institute of Management Lucknow. Her overall work experience is of more than eighteen years in management teaching, research and industry.
Currently, she offers courses at the post-graduate and doctoral levels. Besides teaching Human Resource Management and Organizational Behaviour, currently, she offers electives on Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and HR Analytics. She also offers courses on ‘Talent Management- Advances in Research’ and ‘Strategic Interface of Human Resources with Technology’ to doctoral level students.
She is a keen learner and an avid researcher with several research publications/ presentations/ cases in various national and international peer-reviewed journals/ conferences of repute. She has presented at the 2012 Academy of Management Conference, Boston, USA, and the 2019 ANZAM Conference, Cairns, Australia. She is also a recipient of the award for ‘Best faculty for maximum research points (Pan-Jaipuria campuses) in 2019 by her institute.
She has also published five teaching cases- on Infosys, Tata Nano, Motorola India- Mobile Devices Business, Sona Koyo Steering Systems Limited, and Sula Wines. She has close to 600 citations in Google Scholar. Her research interests lie in HR-IT (social media and digital technologies) interface, employer branding, Travel psychology, sustainable HRM, etc. Currently, she chairs the Thesis Advisory Committees of an FPM scholar and is an external guide to three Ph.D. students.
Pallavi is a certified trainer in DiSC Profiling by Wiley having trained government officers, bankers, corporate executives, and academicians from organizations like CISF, Indian Revenue Services, Customs & Excise, Prasar Bharti, GSI, NABARD, SIDBI, India Post, UPMRC, etc. in various development programs. Her corporate training interests include change management and organizational transformation, training the trainer, interpersonal effectiveness, team building, leadership, employee engagement, and understanding self. Her consulting interests lie in employer branding, employee engagement, and training & development.
A soft-spoken person with an affable demeanor, she loves to explore new places and try out new recipes in her leisure time.
