^AIU Recognized PGDM courses Equivalent to MBA
Dr. Deepankar Chakrabarti, Director of Jaipuria Institute of Management Indore, presented the institute’s Annual Report to the audience. He shared the institute’s notable achievements, including its NIRF ranking between 101 and 125, showcasing its commitment to quality education. Dr. Chakrabarti also highlighted the institute’s focus on sustainable development goals, specifically SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production). He applauded the Center of Excellence in Entrepreneurship Development (CEED), which partnered with “The Runway,” aiding four students in the pre-incubator stage and successfully incubating over eight startups, including Blue Estimates, a market research firm, and Multi-core Marketing Solutions. Dr. Chakrabarti proudly announced a placement record of 98% for the batch of 2021-2023, with 52 new companies participating. The highest package offered stood at 13.25 lakhs per annum, with a median package of 8.02 lakhs per annum. Notably, the highest-paid summer internship (SIP) for this batch was valued at 1.36 lakhs.
After the annual report presentation, all the distinguished guests on the dais – Chairman Sh Sharad Jaipuria ji, Vice Chairman Sh Shreevats Jaipuria ji, Chief Guest Ms Lakshmi Iyer, and Director sir joined together in awarding the diplomas to the 156 graduating students, including students in absentia. Dean Academics Dr Romi Sainy and team PMC coordinated the award distribution.
The ceremony continued with the recognition of meritorious students. Ms. Radhika Sugandhi received the Chairman’s Gold Medal, Ms. Harshita Garg was awarded the Vice-Chairman’s Silver Medal, and Ms. Neha Jain received the Director’s Bronze Medal as the top three meritorious students. Ms. Pragya Farkya earned the Overall Best Student award for her outstanding performance in academics and co-curricular activities.
Dr. Jagdish Bhagwat and Dr. Shailesh Pandey were honored as Best Faculty, while Mr. Rajanish Khare received the Best Staff Member award.
Ms. Kunjal Seth, an alumnus from the 2015-17 batch, received the Alumni Achiever Award for her professional accomplishments and her contributions to her alma mater.
The ceremony continued with the Chief Guest, Ms. Lakshmi Iyer delivering an inspiring Convocation Speech, emphasizing the importance of three P’s – patience, perseverance, and priorities. Ms. Iyer’s speech commenced with a memorable line, “Pushpa naam sun kr ladki samjhe kya, fire hai apun,” acknowledging the remarkable achievements of all the women receiving awards. She also highlighted the significance of work as worship and passion, while stressing the power of positive thinking.
The convocation ceremony reached its grand finale with a Vote of Thanks by Sh Shreevats Jaipuria ji, the Vice Chairman of the Board of Governors, Jaipuria Institutes of Management. In his address, he emphasized the importance of positive thinking, EQ, and DQ. Shreevats Jaipuria ji expressed his belief that the graduating students represent the future of India, imparting his blessings upon them to achieve success while maintaining a healthy body and mind. He encouraged them to embrace a lifelong journey of learning, never losing faith in their dreams.
The ceremony concluded with a group photograph of all the graduating students, all dignitaries, and all the faculty members. Everyone joined the Convocation lunch at the end.
