Anmol Agarwal, who has joined Jaipuria Institute of Management, Jaipur in the 2012 academic session, hails from the city of Ajmer. Anmol has always been very good at Math, and after finishing his schooling from St. Pauls’, he pursued an Engineering degree in Computer Science from Government Engineering College in Ajmer. After clearing Engineering with a score of 72.5 per cent, Anmol knew that he could make it to a top-notch B-school anywhere in the country. But owing to family matters, he could not go very far from Ajmer. That’s when he heard about Jaipuria Institute of Management, Jaipur.

“Over the years, ‘Jaipuria brand’ has grown considerably. Since I wanted to take admission in a college which is near Ajmer, Jaipuria Jaipur proved to be the best option for me.”

Having been pretty active on the extra-curricular front, Anmol has really come into his own in Jaipuria, Jaipur.

“My hobbies include playing football and table tennis, and I love hanging out with friends. Jaipuria, Jaipur has helped me channelise my strengths right from Day 1. During the induction programme, some sessions were really good and very interactive. So far, I’ve had the opportunity to be a part of a skit, Ad mania – the Ad competition, various sports and have even been one of the anchors at the recently held International Conference at Jaipuria, Jaipur.”

Anmol finds the faculty at Jaipuria Jaipur extremely knowledgeable, and with just the right mix of industry and academic orientation.

“It really feels great when teachers appreciate my work – Professor Lokesh Vijayvargy especially, because he trusts me a lot. Since Professor Vijayvargy is also from an Engineering background, he understands the kinds of challenges that engineering students face in adjusting to Management classes. Professor Shailesh Rastogi is also a wonderful teacher. His style of teaching is a bit different, but sometimes it works wonders. Of course, Professor Rastogi teaches Finance, and that is why he uses varied techniques to simplify the complicated topics. We’ve had some sessions with Professor S. P. Garg on Inquest, and his way of teaching is very corporate and democratic.”

Anmol says that his only expectation from Jaipuria Institute of Management, Jaipur is for it to give him his deserved shot in life. On completing his management education, he would like to be a part of an organisation that can take his practical learning even further. According to him, that is something that will hold him in good stead in the long run.
