Centre for entrepreneurship development works on its objective to motivate students to select ENTREPRENEUR as a career it also provides hand holding to its students at Jaipuria and is also working in creating awareness and providing support to people around the region. On, 19th July organizations came together to give a boost to start up ecosystems in Lucknow.

Dr Reena Agrawal, Chairperson of Centre for Entrepreneurship Development, Jaipuria Lucknow welcomed the guests and enlightened them about the objectives of Centre for Entrepreneurship Development (CED). She said that CED at Jaipuria Lucknow through its diverse initiatives has been fostering entrepreneurship in the region. Besides encouraging young aspirants to take up entrepreneurship as a career it also provides them hand holding support to initiate their ventures. CED also aims at creating an active ecosystem platform, fostering research & consulting and augmenting innovation in the region. The CED therefore actively engages with local entrepreneurs and start ups to help them establish and scale their business.

Centre for Entrepreneurship Development, Jaipuria Lucknow along with bootstrap weekend, a non-profit organisation joined hands with IIT-Kanpur and managed to bring chief editor of your story Mr. Alok Soni (a BITS Pilani and IIM Ahemdabad graduate) to Lucknow to share his views on start-up ecosystems in Lucknow & in India & to highlight the challenges faced by them.

He appreciated forming more groups like bootstrap weekend as it gives a platform to discuss the issues in start-up community & find some viable solutions. he also emphasized upon the need of forming entrepreneur cells on the lines of ones formed by Jaipuria & IIT – Kanpur to arrange more such programmes to build new breed of entrepreneurs.
